The camera has a nice wide view, not super clear but good enough to make out objects fine. The unit is compact and easy to install, overall very good.

This camera has a normal resolution if they are looking for high image resolution does not recommend it, but if the camera is very durable for materials is made and plays perfectly its Lavor, so if you have to have the encoder to is connected.

As a long time shopper at amazon I have received many products in all kinds of conditions. Once I opened the front door to see a well known shipper tossing a TV up on to my front porch. I guess the five steps would have slowed him down. I would have guessed that it would have never worked. However to this day it works great. So when I saw a dent/hole in the exterior box that my two cameras arrived in I did not give it much thought. Besides only one of the two cameras had a bit of a small dent in the product box. I ran my cables and mounted them in the same place that a couple of old analog clearance specials from the big box store have been for ten years.(they still work)

Installed on Saturday, August 13th. and I could not have been more pleased. Two days later when the mail is delivered one of them turns bright white. It lasted several hours and then back to normal. Over the next eight days this was repeated over and over. As for camera number two it worked just great until eight days later and cue "Metallica" it did "Fade to Black" It was gone and not coming back.

So I contacted the seller after boxing them up so I could get rid of them as fast as I could but the seller, the first and last time I will purchase from them, wanted me to send a picture of the box. The want to blame the cameras not working on the fact that there was a dent/hole in the box and put it off on the shipper. I am not sure one way or another. Like I said above I have received a lot of things over the years from amazon as well as other sellers that have arrived in worse shape than this and to date everything still works so I cannot say if it was dropped or handle rough in shipping and that is what caused the one camera to turn bright white when a vehicle would pass through my drive or not. However why did the other camera work great and then go black in a little over a week?

So why 2 stars? Because I think that this would be a good camera if they are packaged and shipped without any problems. If the seller had placed some packing paper or any packing material in the shipping box it would have prevented any damage to the product box and would have softened the blow it received when the shipping box took a hit.

I have had 3 of these installed for a year now. Great little camera, very good daytime color, ok nighttime black and white. If it were not for the very poor mounts I would have given 5 stars. Of the 3 units I have had to epoxy 2 of the mounts so they will stay in place. Wouldn't take much to make these excellent cameras.

If your looking for home or small business security this system is the right stuff. Inexpensive and great video quality. I was thinking that it would have skipping and what not but I had 4 cameras and the system up within an hour at our auto shop and I can watch everything in LIVE VIEW! its just what I would ask for if it was professional honestly. It has one down side that I came across, during installation you have to move the camera into position, the mount is kinda cheap. Well one part is. One part is metal and the other is plastic with a screw tightener. I cant complain for the money I was just going to weld a new plate and call it a day. Fortunately I had a conversation with the supplied plate and we came to an agreement on what its job was. J/K :) if you play with it a little bit it works out just fine.
