This dummy camera is awesome. I don't believe anyone would be able to tell this from a real unit. I would highly recommend this unit for anyone not wanting to invest in a real unit and save some money.

I specifically choose this camera because based on the description, it would have the aluminum housing rather than the plastic. It did not disappoint. The housing seems to be from a real camera. Not sure if real cameras have the red light but you have that choice as well. The camera was a little larger than expected. Dimensions are listed, I did not read before ordering but I can live with it. Maybe a bigger deterrent? All in all, recommend.

I purchased two of these devices following a breakin. They are mounted in a position where intruders are unable to touch or see them closely. The red flashing LED is the key to their success. The housing is identical to those that contain an actual camera so potential thieves cannot distinguish these from an actual monitored security system. The products are securely packaged and shipped promptly. When coupled with the reasonable pricing, I found this to be one of the best buys on Amazon.
